One More Chance

One more chance is so AMAZING! I mean, I'm one of the fan of these two and they just made me love them even more. I'd never seen Bea and John Lloyd as this good. I watched all their movie, from Now that I have you up to this One More Chance and I can say this is really the BEST movie I have ever watched. I agree with the general public always utter that their tandem has an undeniable chemistry and are pretty natural actors. John Lloyd is indeed a great Actor. Bea able to became the character she play.

Without a doubt, it was Popoy's (Name of JLC) bitter line and superb dialogue "You had me at my best; she loved me at my worst and you chose to break my heart" that resonated with all those who has ever had their heart broken. He delivered it VERY WELL. JLC has a lot of statements that remarks to the audiences like.. "Hindi ko kailangan yun, Ikaw ang kailangan ko.." This is were basha asked to have a room to grow because ever since when they are together they are insperable...


"Malaki lang ang katawan mo pero hindi mo ako kayang pataubin.. Basha naman! alam mo ba ang 3 months rule? 3months bago ka ulit magkaboyfriend!"... after a while he says...

"Mahal na mahal kita.. at ang sakit sakit na" This is the time were they met again after the painful broke up in their thursday reunion and he saw Derek Ramsey who played the role of Marc, an officemate of Basha who he thinks the new Boyfriend of Basha. But the scenario that really made me cry is were Janus Del Prado was in the hospital who attempt to have suicide because her fiance broke up with him. Popoy's sentimental line that he give advice to his friend..

"Nalalala mo pa ba nung ako ang andyan? Diba sabi mo pa nga sa akin.. na kaya tayo iniiwan ng taong mahal natin dahil mayroon bagong darating na mas maganda na mas magmamahal sa atin tulad ng pagmamahal natin sa kanila.. Yung taong mamahalin tayo ng totoo, Yung taong hindi tayo iiwan....." I can relate to this because,yeah We had a story before that was quite the same with Popoy-Basha love story. ahaha! :))

By the Way..

Bea Alonzo has a remarkable statement too.. Were in She wants to broke up with Popoy, here it goes.. "What if hindi na ako masaya sa ginagawa ko? What if kaya ko lang naman pinagpatuloy to dahil sayo? Paano ko magagawa ang lahat ng gusto ko kung lahat na lang nakaplano? Gusto ko ng space. Hindi naman lahat ikaw ang magsosolusyon. Gusto ko rin naman na ako. Alam mo yun na kung walang Popoy, walang Basha Nakakasakal na.. Nakakasawa na".

Basha's compassion but classic line... "Alam mo ba kung ano ang problema? Ako ang problema dahil hanggang ngayon mahal parin kita.. Dahil nasasaktan ako pero hindi naman na dapat.. Ako naman ang humingi nito diba? Ako naman ang may gusto nito.. Gusto ko lang naman na ako na lang... Ako na lang ulit..."

After the Painful Break up, Popoy learns to pick up the pieces and discovers a life that he can call his own. But Basha's journey became more difficult especially when he sees that Popoy has another girl. Then there she realizes that she still in love with Popoy, a part of her wants to get back but a part also know that she was the one who asked for this.

Maja Salvador who played the role of Trisha, the new girlfriend of Popoy. She was the one who are there when Popoy was very down, when He was in a dark room full of grief, sorrow and loneliness. She catch Popoy and she is the one why Popoy rise from his fall. But She wasn't enough. I mean.. She's trying but she cannot. I pity the role of Maja, She was a martyr girlfriend of Popoy. She knew from the start that Popoy still loves Basha but still, she never demand for the whole love of Popoy. She gave Popoy an original composition of her own song.. "I love you and I will tell to you everyday.. Everyday until I could take away the pain.. If only I could be done.. But I couldn't be... Cause you don't let me." A very painful brokeup. And here is the affliction scenario of Trisha and Popoy..

Trisha: "Mahal mo pa ba siya?"
Popoy: "Mahal kita"
Trisha: "Mahal mo pa ba siya?"
Popoy: "Mapapatawad m ba ako?"
Trisha: "Gusto mo na ba tapusin to?"
Popoy: "Ayoko kitang nakikitang nasasaktan..."
(pinapikit niya si Popoy)
Trisha: "Yan.. Para sa kung sakaling man masaktan ako.. Hindi mo makikita.."
"Gusto mo na bang tapusin to?"
Popoy: "Sorry"


I think, not everyone of us can say this to his/her loved ones especially when it's time to let go. She's brave enough to face the truth. I admire her character for being such one.

Slowly, They fall into their own routine and find themselves enjoying each other's company once agin. After all five years of being together is hard to erase. Both realize how much they missed each other yet both also recognized how much they've changed. But popoy knows that giving in would mean going back to how they were before and he's too scared to get in the way of Basha's growth once again especially now she knew that Basha can do it alone. And that's the time they both decided that if in the end, if they are destined.. Love will wait and find it's own beautiful time.

I watched it 3 times. And I will never get tired to watch it all over again. This one is my favorite movie of all time for sure. This really made a big blockbuster hit to everyone. Congrats to Ms. Cathy Molina for such a very wonderful Job. The best acting performance of Bea and John Lloyd ever. The movie that put them the great actors of this generation.

Your whole world can suddenly seem turned upside down when you learn the sad reality that the love you thought was forever is now over. It's like unexpectedly being doused with an icy cold bucket of water. You're instantly forced to look at everything differently and realize your day to day life will no longer include the one you love. However, the key to holding onto any type of future relationship with this person is keeping your dignity and grace during your time of discomfort and pain.
You may not be thinking about it now, but a great friendship could still develop out of this relationship.

It's all about giving another chance. Love the imperfections of your loved ones. Think twice before making a decision, sometimes making such are cause by too much emotions that we think there's nothing we can do but to give up.

Giving up is only an option. It's not the answer to all, cause for me giving up is like you are defeated in a war wherein you have no choice, but to surrender.

Is there a break up that wasn't painful? All of us can experience pain from our first love, and following such love can cause to a higher pain every time break up's do. People who can face this kind of pain are those people who are really in love and brave enough. Don't strangle your partner in a way that s/he can stray in her/him cage. People need freedom. It doesn't mean that if you are attached, you can lose your freedom. Let your partner stand up in her own feet. Just like butterflies, sometimes let your Partner go and enjoy with the flowers and bees. How can it be the best butterfly it can be? if you are letting it in your palm. Cause when the rain comes, it will find ways to fly back to you.

Sometimes it's not healthy for a relationship if you and your partner are always together. There should be a time when you need to miss him/her. To have a social life and enjoy others company.

Let your partner grow. Let her/him be the one s/he wants. All of us needs to grow, in the end.. It's for us.

Break-up is not the end of everything, its just the end of a chapter in your life. meaning, your about to start a new chapter that is more beautiful than before.
